SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT   UNIVERSITY OF TURKISH AERONAUTICAL ASSOCIATION (Application Deadline: 15 July 2012)      

University of Turkish Aeronautical Association (www.thk.edu.tr), Turkey’s first and only specialized university on aeronautics and astronautics, will provide scholarships in 2012-2013 Academic Year for international students. In this regard, 1 (one) quota has been allocated to Croatia.    

The students who would like to study at the following departments of the said University can apply for the scholarship:  

Faculty of Engineering: Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Mechatronics Engineering.  

Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics: Department of Aerospace Engineering, Department of Aeronautical Engineering.  

Faculty of Business Administration: Department of Civil Air Transportation Management.  
  
Scholarship applications should be made through the Turkish Embassy in Zagreb until 15 July, 2012.    

The academic language is English. Therefore, admitted students should pass English Proficiency Exam which will be held by the University. Those who cannot pass the said exam shall study at English Preparatory classes for 1 year at the end of which they have to pass the Proficiency Exam to start departmental studies.  

Knowledge of Turkish language will be an asset for acceptance.  

Beneficiary students will be exempt from tuition fees. They shall meet other expenditures themselves including travel and accommodation themselves.
