H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will pay a working visit to Lebanon on 1-2 December 2016.

This visit, which comes after nearly five years since the last visit by a Turkish Foreign Minister to Lebanon, will give the opportunity to express our support to Lebanon in connection with the recent Presidential election and ongoing consultations on the formation of the new government.

During the visit, H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will meet H.E. Michel Aoun, President of the Republic of Lebanon, H.E. Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Parliament, H.E. Tammam Salam, Caretaker Prime Minister, H.E. Saad Hariri, Prime Minister-Designate and H.E. Gebran Bassil, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. Discussion on all aspects of our bilateral relations and exchanges of views on regional developments are planned during these meetings.
